hamlet (*swoon*) yeah right!

here are some of my favorite quotes from hamlet, my favorite play
:)

This quote comes after Prince hamlet has killed polonius. Prince hamlet is acting as if he were mad to drive his uncle (who murdered the late king, hamlets father, to marry hamlets mother) insane. So here he teases his uncle the king.
"King: now Hamlet where is polonius?
HAM: at supper.
King: at supper! Where?
HAM: not where he eats, but where he is eaten; a certain convocation of politic worms are e’en at him. Your worm is your only emperor for diet: we fat all creatures else to fat us, and we fat ourselves for maggots: your fat king and your lean beggar is but variable service, -- two dishes, but to one table: that’s the end.
King alas, alas!
HAM: a man may fish with a worm thet hath eaten of a king, and eat of the fish that hath fed of the worm.
KING: what does thou mean by this?
HAM: nothing, but to show how a king may go a progress throu the guts of a beggar.
KING: where is polonius?
HAM: in heaven; send thither to see: and if thy messenger find him not there, seek him I’ the other place yourself. But indeed if you find him not within this month, you shall nose (smell) him as you go up the stairs into the lobby.
KING: go seek him there (to attendants)
HAM: he will stay till thee come "(to attendants)

here just moments after the last quote, the king has told hamlit he is sending him to england. hamlet is the prince of denmark, and england owes a debt to denmark so the king is sending hamlet to england with an order to the king of england to kill hamlet.

"HAM: for england!
KING: aye, hamlet
HAM: good!
KING so is it, if thou knowest our purposes.
HAM: i see a cherub that sees them--- but come; for england-- farewell, dear mother.
KING: thy loving father, hamlet!
HAM: nay, my mother: father and mother is man and wife; man and wife are one flesh so, my mother-- come for england!"

i love hamlets wit even as he apears to have no wits about him, he is uncommenly wise. i love the play hamlet for mainly that reason, but another one is it is a fable from my homeland, Denmark, i am second generation from denmark, although i also have many other Heritages.
french, indian, english, scotish, welll all those diferent heritages, have brought me my good looks ( *wink*) lol!
naw i'm joking, but the reason most nobles in england were ugly is because they married thiere cousins too many of the same genes in theier blood, the result.. ugly people hah LOL, sorry that was mean, but it is true. :)

Hamlet was a depressed kid. He is like a simple plan song, whaaaaa whaaaaaa whaaaaaa, dad dad whaaaaaa. He was reckless and didnt care about anything because he could find no reason for life to go on. That's why he contemplated suicide, that's why he killed innocent Polonius and drove Ophelia insane. Hamlet was as much a villain as Claudius. At least Claudius felt bad for murdering his brother. But, yeah it is about Denmark.

hamlet accidentally killed polonius, he though polonius was his uncle.
